Opening hours:

From Tuesday to Sunday between 10.00 and 18.00

Cash office closes at 17.30, therefore tickets are available till 17.15.
Our exhibitions may be visited according to the following:

Glorious Era of the Rákóczis: individually and with guide,

Red Tower: only in guided groups
Gun foundry of György Rákóczi I: individually and with guide,

Others: with guide.

Tours start due to claim. Professional tour guides are available.

According to the 194/2000.(XI.24.) Government Order, the reduced prices for museums are the following:

(1.) Admission is free in museums in all permanent and periodical exhibitions for the following
visitors (coming from the European Economic Region):
a., Children under 6 years;
b., c., The handicapped and their attendants (1 attendant / 1 handicapped);
d., One’s having professional admission card issued by the ministry
e., members of national-authority public collections having at least 400 members
f., Teachers working in public education;
g., Adults over 70 years;

(2.) Admission is free to the permanent exhibitions for inhabitants of the European Economic Area on every second Sunday of the month if:
a., the Visitors is under 26 years of age.
b., close relatives (maximum 2 people) guarding a child under 18 years of age.

*(3.) Admission is 50% reduced for people of the European Economic Area for the permanent and periodic exhibitions:
a., Visitors between the age of 6 and 26.
b., Ones between 62 and 70.
c., Close relatives (maximum 2 people) guarding minimum 2 children under 18 years of age.

(4.) Furthermore admission is free
a., for everyone on Hungarian national holidays: (15 March, 20 August, 23, October)
